It seems like every time you turn your head, someone is extolling the incredible benefits of turmeric extract! So just what is it about this herb that’s got everyone so excited?

It has long been used in Chinese and Indian medicine to cure all manner of ailments including arthritis among others, and it is only now that turmeric extract has come to our attention here in the West.

It is curcumin, the yellow pigment present in turmeric that is responsible for its healing qualities. This is an exceptionally powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, and helps to reverse the aging process by neutralizing the free radicals which damage our body's cells.

Due to this action it has been shown to help stop cancer in all stages, particularly prostate and breast cancer, which is almost unheard of in India where they consume vast amounts of it through their cooking.

It also has a powerful effect in helping with Alzheimer's and other degenerative diseases, showing particular promise in prevention of these.

This is really one of the most interesting benefits of turmeric extract I have found during my research, how it has been shown to help us stay sharper as we get older, and with half of us predicted to get some form of dementia, this is really good news.

The list goes on with helping to reduce swelling and its antiseptic qualities helping wounds to heal, and it does all this naturally with no side effects. With rheumatoid arthritis it has shown to be as good as hydrocortisone!

So how do we incorporate this into our daily routine? The most effective route is via a multi health supplement containing many other synergistic nutrients, like piperine, resveratrol and green tea extract.

When these ingredients are put together they create synergy, which means you get the direct benefits of each nutrient and the benefits from their interaction with each other. Piperine increases turmeric's absorption by up to 2000%, so no need for a high dose.

Make no mistake about it, turmeric extract when combined with the correct nutrients can help you live a longer healthier life, and in the short term increase your energy levels and keep your mind sharp. So what are you waiting for!
