Of all respondents who were involved, 50 percent of them never or very rarely go shopping. Approximately 22 percent of respondents go shopping 2-4 times / week and the remaining 17 percent taking the time to go shopping every day.

"This fact is very nice, but I would not conclude that the expenditures made longevity. Characteristics of individual people who like to spend more influence longevity," said Prof. S. Jay Olshansky of the University of Illinois, as quoted from HealthDay.
